Your songs are fabulous! We are enjoying your “Motivate with Mrs. Kate” so much! I work with developmentally disabled individuals. We had a ball singing to your CD on a recent car trip to Orlando. We specifically zoned in on "Don't Push In Line" and “Give me a Smile" (my personal favorite). What I love the most is that the songs are so easy to learn! Though the words repeat, they don't sound repetitive. My clients are already singing many of them and ask to play them each time we get in the car! I was thrilled to see that you included the words to each song. It seems like you and the kids had a lot of fun making it! I especially love the clarinet on Hug-a-Bug-a-Boo! Having played it for years, I appreciate the sound of a good clarinet. The backup music, kids, and other instruments were marvelous! I love it! You go girl!

This CD is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! I am a nanny for two little girls, ages three and six. While the older one was at camp, I brought the little one to story hour at the library. She is normally very quiet in large groups. The day that Mrs, Kate was singing the songs from this CD, the child's eyes were lit up with excitement as she joined in with all the movements and singing! It was only natural that I bought "Motivate." Later when my older charge came home for a play-date, she and her friend were both singing along with all the songs on the CD. "Motivate with Mrs Kate" could not be a more appropriate title. The content of what you have produced will do just that. Heck..it made me sit up straight and say, "Yes Ma'am!" The production on this album is fantastic. I commend your producer. The instrumentation is wonderful. The clarinet and the autoharp particularly caught my ear. The song that most stands out for me is "Hero In My Eyes". But, then again, I am a sucker for when you sing soft & sweet. What I pictured in my head while I listened was Julie Andrews as Maria singing to the Von Trapp children in The Sound Of Music. My opinion in a word? BRAVO!!!!

The audio was crisp and bright, and every word understandable. As you know, if you've ever had the privilege of listening to a Mrs. Kate CD, you can't stop at just once! We were soon grinning and singing along, slapping our knees and tapping our feet. I’m convinced that "Motivate with Mrs. Kate" would make an excellent back-to-school gift in early August. I'm excited about the potential in whole classrooms full of kids! What a change in the classroom if just one student chose to be kind as he put on his shoes in the morning, and a student quit stealing answers from her neighbor's test paper! I gave one of your MMK CD's to a 1st grade class where I sub a lot and the kids love it!. When Hug a Bug a Boo comes on everyone runs around hugging and waiting for me to hug them.

"Extremely professionally done! This reminds me of something that I'd hear on Sesame Street, with major bucks behind the project. Can you just see it? The Jacksonville PBS affiliate produces a "Motivate With Mrs. Kate" program -- each segment deals with one aspect from the CD -- next thing you know, it gets picked up by other PBS stations -- becomes nationally syndicated -- doesn't really sound far-fetched, does it? Just brainstorming, but THIS IS REALLY GOOD. I liked "Teamwork" and "Hero In My Eyes" best on first listening. Rebecca Zapen did an outstanding job -- well, I'm partial to fiddle anyways -- as did all of the musicians. I had great fun listening for Gail Keel (concertina)-- she always seemed to come up with something just a little bit unexpected -- great fun. Jamie is a very good producer. And the kids were just outstanding. And then there's you -- such catchy lyrics and powerful messages and vocals that are simultaneously uplifting yet soothing.
